This Terra Madre Salone del Gusto will feature Cacao Camp, a space to dedicated to learning more about the cacao supply chain and chocolate production. Cacao Camp will involve international guests, producers and Slow Food delegates who, together with the founder of Domori Gianluca Franzoni, will contribute to deepening visitors knowledge of the world of cacao, telling the interesting research that has distinguished them in this sector. Inside the Cacao Camp, there will be five seminars a day, free admission and aimed at an audience of small and large enthusiasts: in collaboration with Slow Food, children can learn about the cocoa supply chain by learning how chocolate is born, while there be events to discover the stories of the plantations and know the faces of the most important experts on the subject. Within this in-depth area, in addition to seminars and workshops, part of the Domori production will be transferred: thanks to the Bean to Bar Multiprocess machines designed in collaboration with the Tecno 3 company, chocolate bars will be produced right before your eyes, ” Domori for Terra Madre “, whose proceeds will be donated to Slow Food’s Food for Change campaign. The Bean to Bar Multiprocess machines represent the first compact cocoa processing system: starting from grain beans, they are able to complete each phase of chocolate production, preserving all the quality, aromatic notes and preciousness of the most noble cocoa.
