Food as a motor of peace, of local development and of contrast to the crisis

World food production and distribution systems have great paradoxes. However, food increasingly becomes a central point for the construction of concrete, sustainable and equitable development alternatives for producers in Southern Countries who are in conditions of margins due to different types of crisis factors. Wars, droughts and climate change, internal conflicts have a significant impact on the possibilities of development of communities and territories. Support for agricultural projects, however, in many areas of the world is a determining factor for development and growth and peace.
