School Canteens: best practices and the state of the art

Torino-Lingotto Fiere

Most schoolchildren eat at least one meal a day away from home, often taking advantage of the school canteen.

Therefore, it is important that they have access to fresh and seasonal foods, with a carefully prepared menu that takes its environmental impact into consideration. This forum will share Slow Food network experiences where school meals have been used as an educational tool, using nutritional local products and promoting socialization and integration.
