Ukraine: Cooking with Herbs

Herbs are an omnipresent ingredient in Podolian food.

Some herbs  are served in salads, others to flavor main courses, others still are fermented or used as ingredients in beverages. Here Tatiana Iablonska of the local Slow Food network and chefs from the Slow Food Alliance will illustrate their beneficial properties in a series of tasty recipes. Tatiana will also show us how to preserve herbs and explain how promoting knowledge of them can help maintain local biodiversity.
