Nuvola Lavazza

One of the many centers of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is Nuvola Lavazza, the new space of the Turin-based company inaugurated last April in the Aurora district.
 
For visitors to Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, Nuvola Lavazza will be easily accessible from Lingotto (in 30 minutes) using the shuttle service offered by CNH Industrial. The shuttles to Nuvola Lavazza leave every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a frequency of one every 20 minutes.

Museum and Archive

A surprising journey to discover coffee in all its forms; an interactive and engaging journey through the history of a company that from a small family business has become famous throughout the world. The constantly evolving and updated Archive collects information on the company’s more than 120 years of history.

Visitors to Terra Madre Salone del Gusto will have access to the Lavazza Museum every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. For participants in the Taste Workshops on Coffee, the visit is free of charge.

The Lavazza Museum also hosts the Coffee Taste Workshops: nine events dedicated to regional Italian coffees, coffee preparation methods, cocktails, desserts and much more.

The Bistrot

The Bistrot is a place dedicated to collective catering that goes beyond the concept of a company canteen, opening up to the service to all.

In the space of the Bistrot, the Food for Inclusion dinner is scheduled for September 22nd. The dinner menu goes around the world, interweaving  hands and knowledge of  refugees with those of Italian chefs: from Kenya with Samosa, a dish originally from India but adopted in different cultures, to Syria with falafel, to Baba Ganoush with aubergines typical of the Middle Eastern tradition, to red spice risotto that combines Italy and Maghreb, to Ceebu Jen stew from Senegal and Gambia, to end with tiramisu with dulce de leche, a crossover between Argentina and Italy.

La Centrale

La Centrale is the place for ideas, meetings, and appointments, created by the complete renovation of the former Enel power plant in Turin.

The center hosts major meetings, including a conference on Friday 21 September, Recipes for Change, where chefs Olivier Roellinger, Pierre Thiam and Claudia Albertina Ruiz Sántiz discuss the subject of climate change and the role that chefs can play in raising consumer awareness of it.
