More details to be released in the second half of February.
The organization of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2018 has been proceeding apace for some months now, and in Turin and among food professional rumors are swirling about what this 12th edition of the most important international event for good, clean and fair food will look like.
Here is what we can tell you so far about the event, which is being organized by Slow Food, the Region of Piedmont and the City of Turin: Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2018 will be held in Turin from September 20 to 24. The general objective of the event in 2018 is to inspire and encourage change in people’s food habits, starting from the widest possible sharing of knowledge. One important innovation for the 2018 edition will be a greater public involvement by communicating the steps leading up to the official launch of the event in advance, and ensuring that the Terra Madre and Slow Food networks play an active role in communication.
In the second half of February, a conference will be held for the press and other interested stakeholders in Turin and the rest of Piedmont where further details about the event’s themes, activities and venues will be shared.
The complete program, including the participants and a calendar of activities, will be available in June.
